There is a place you can go. A place alive in the deep of the night. A place where the hot pounding music will lift you up and melt your soul. There are other night clubs of course, there always are, but none can compare to the eccentric Toxic Shock. Techno, trance, downbeat, ambient, industrial, and more. Electronica is the name of the game and the price is always worth it.

The only thing more addicting than Toxic Shock is its owner, Urdu. On any given night Urdu can be found in his office or in the VIP section looking down on his clientele. He has an eye for pretty faces and will invite one or two who have caught his fancy to join him for a drink and more. Tall, muscular, and with all the charm of a cobra, Urdu is popular with his patrons and he does what he can to keep the dancers coming back time and time again. Urdu may be a bit callous and more than a bit predatory, but his patrons are exceedingly loyal. And he has patrons of all kinds. There is more than just candyboys and bored college student looking for a thrill that coming crawling in every night. Urdu specializes in the supernatural sides of things. Those of magical or mystical or otherwise "special" leanings can come to Toxic Shock to unwind or to meet safely. This has earned him a certain reputation. And reputation is always necessary as Urdu is certainly one of the larger players in the city's underworld.

By no means a real gangster, Urdu has immeasurable sway in the shadows of the city. While he does not extort nor threaten and just prefers to just leave everyone alone, every business in his district, from the art studios to the tattoo parlors to the picturesque cafes, all look up to and depend on him to keep "others" away. These "others" are the gangs, mobsters, and corporate suits that might like a slice of Urdu's pretty little pie. Urdu is always watchful for them. He has a network of patrons that function as his eyes and ears, and sometimes fists, in order to keep unwelcomed rivals out of his streets.

Physically, Urdu is a tall and physically intimidating nuclear tigrean, known for his muscled and ripped physique. His normal attire is understated for a club owner, nothing more than a white t shirt and loose black jeans. His default expression appears to be mildly annoyed and it only moves from there, however deep down he really cares about people, especially the weak and downtrodden. Urdu himself is a supernatural, though what kind he doesn't say and in this day and age it's probably not important.
