Adventure Cat. Miniature Cougar. Child of Bastet. She went by many names but all who knew her understood she was the ruler of her domain. Humans, dogs and other cats all respected the queen. She made sure of it. Born to a stray cat who made herself at home with my animal loving grandma Mytec spent the first few months of her life as an outdoor cat. Although she came to love the pampered life she never forgot her wild roots. A mighty huntress with a cunning mind she was not one to be trifled with. Nonetheless she had a great amount of tolerance for my antics as I was growing up. In fact she often posed with great elegance when dressed in various costumes, why one year she even won first place for "Most Spooktacular"...and she was the only cat in the contest. Never afraid and always daring she would walk on a leash like a dog and show them all just how cool a cat could be.

For seventeen years she graced our lives with her beautiful wild spirit, barely slowing down or showing her age. Sometimes one would forget how old she truly was, she remained young at heart all her life. Sharing her home with two other cats, three dogs and various small animals she always had plenty of company. She was welcomed by the original pack of dogs when she as just a kitten and was there to welcome the current pack years later. Even if she wasn't always thrilled with the new arrivals she eventually came around to them. She taught young Wahya her place and to always respect cats, a lesson the rambunctious husky mix has never forgotten. Mytec was a special cat, a unique soul that will never be forgotten and will live on in my heart forever. ♥️
