ate is a magical pink hippo who sees food with smiles and faces. with a childlike personality, he lives in a fantasy world where he must battle other hippos and control the desire to eat all the yummy snacks even though they look back at him!

food is friends, not to eat
but what about to ote

i guess that tasted ite
i cant help myself

for food is not to waste
or to be consumed with haste
you must savor & appreciate the taste
or you might as well just be eating paste.

what happens to food when we are away?
do they just sit & wait around for the day?
or do their bodies begin to thrive,
and their minds come alive?
....smiles form
.....thoughts brainstorm
what if this was the norm?
would they begin to mourn
our presence they would warn.
good thing this is not fact,
untrue... just a ruse, an act

theres so much food to eat
fruits, dairy, cheese and meat
oh this seems to be a great feat
for breakfast, dinner, and lunch
what will be for my next munch?

about an apple named john dory.
he has little googly eyes,
and tastes so good in pies.
a smile that is so big,
like a plump juicy pig *PINK HIPPO
oh how i want to take a bite,
the thought would just excite!
hes just a little apple, so green,
with a face in between.
