Life Excerpt
The nearby trees shook as he let out a loud roar. The claws had made deep gashes across his chest. In hindsight it probably hadn't been the best idea to jump on top of the werewolf he was fighting. But to the dismay of his foe, the pain only fueled the burning anger and fury he was feeling. Before the werewolf had time to slash him again, Ithildir bit down on it's throat and ripped it out with all the power his bear-shape could muster.
A few seconds later a strapping nightelven male stood where the bear had been before. His chest hurt a lot but he had other things on his mind. Much more important things. He quickly hurried over to the slumped body of another nightelf. He gently took him in his arms.
-"Baby, are you okay?" Gingerly he placed a kiss on the other one's forehead. "Please, wake up..." A low, almost inaudible moan escaped those perfect lips as his eyes started to flicker open.
-"I...Ithildir?"
-"I'm right here, my love." He replied as he brushed some stray hairs from his husband's face. "Are you okay, Elduin?" The gorgeous being he held in his arms finally opened his eyes fully and looked around them.
-"Where's...Did you..." His beautiful green eyes settled on the dead werewolf. "Oh." Then Elduin's attention was on Ithildir. "You're hurt!" He started fussing over Ithildir's bleeding chest. It was clear that he was still shook up after what had happened because Elduin's hands were shaking. Ithildir grabbed them with his own, making Elduin look up into his eyes questioningly.
-"I'll be fine, my love." He smiled reassuringly and to his relief Elduin calmed down considerably then. "I know you know that I can easily heal a wound like this." He leaned forward and kissed his husband on his forehead again.
-"Are you sure it's not worse than that?" There was a lot of concern baked into that question. Ithildir just smiled, put a hand over the wound and concentrated. The hand glowed green and the wounds started to close. It only took a minute for him to heal it completely.
-"See?" He rested his hand on Elduin's shoulder, before lifting it and stroking his cheek lovingly. "Now, are you going to answer my question?" Elduin looked at him and it was apparent that he didn't know what Ithildir was referring to. "Are you okay? The werewolf seemed to fling you into the tree with quite a force..."
-"I...I think so." Elduin made a move to get up but sat back down instantly with a painful groan.
-"Don't worry. I'll see what I can do." Ithildir placed both his hands over Elduin's chest and started healing.
Ten minutes later he stopped. His forehead was beaded with sweat, and he was exhausted. Sometimes he really wished he'd gone healer instead of tank. He was snapped out of his thoughts when Elduin caressed his cheek.
-"Are you alright? You look awful!" Ithildir chuckled.
-"Why, thank you. That's so nice of you to say." Elduin smiled at him. Then, in seemingly one single swift movement he grabbed Ithildir's ears, pulled him close and kissed him. He could feel his body reacting to the passion with which they were kissing. If either of them had had even an ounce of decency in them in these matters it would have stopped at kissing. But neither of them cared if anyone would catch them in the act. Raw, unadulterated passion was taking over and soon their clothes lay strewn across the ground.
Both of them were panting, with big grins on their faces.
-"We should do that more often." Elduin purred while kissing Ithildir's naked shoulder.
-"Which part? Fighting werewolves, getting hurt or enjoying each other?" Ithildir caressed his husband's back.
-"Well, how about we just skip the middle one? Because if you get that excited after a fight..." Ithildir couldn't help but chuckle at that.
-"I guess adrenaline has that effect on me."
