-”Hey! What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Takeo let out a quick sigh before turning around to face the person yelling at him. He was just in time to bring his dagger up and block the sword being swung at him from above. The guard was bigger than Takeo by quite some margin, and much stronger too. Parrying the sword like that had been painful for Takeo. He’d felt a jolt through his body as the sword hit his two crossed daggers. A sharp pain in his side caught him by surprise. The one whose bag of money he’d swiped had probably just realized what had happened and had taken matters a bit into their own hands by slashing Takeo’s side with a dagger of their own. He could feel his blood flowing down his side, slowly drenching his clothes in red warmth. Takeo didn’t have time to worry about that wound though because the guard wasn’t letting up. After shoving the citizen out of the way the guard kept attacking the weakening rogue. As black spots were starting to appear in his vision Takeo heard a familiar voice calling out from behind the guard.
-”Why don’t you pick on someone your own size, oaf?” As the guard shifted his focus to the big lynx warrior standing behind him Takeo stumbled back, found a wall that he leaned his back against and slid down it until he was sitting on the ground. Despite his vision getting blurry he could still make out the lynx with his huge sword, swinging it with deadly precision at the guard that was probably realizing that he was out of his depth with this one. Takeo smiled. Once again Rei had showed up just in the nick of time. Just in time to save his beloved Takeo. Then it all went black for the young fox.
