Simply put, Davey loves the water. When he was but a wee pup, he was found on the shores of Delphi by a few local ontra. They took him back to their clan and decided to take him in, although he was not one of their own. Davey grew up loved and cared for, but his fellows were irked whenever he would try to build small rafts and sailboats and try to sail to nearby islands. They didn't understand why he didn't just stay home and fish for the nearby oysters and rock crab. But Davey was forever off on little adventures and eventually, he became quite skilled at piloting different watercraft. When he came of age, he bought a small sailing sloop with money he had been saving since he was small. It was a beautiful vessel, and although his foster family wasn't all that pleased, they saw his real love of the water, of sailing, of adventure...and when he set off the week after acquiring the boat, they knew he was happy. Now, Davey spends his days sailing around the seas of Subeta, fishing when he needs to eat and taking small jobs on shore when he needs to earn money to repair his love, the Lady Bliss.
