a well known film and show sound producer. he's always been fascinated by music, and his favorite instrument is the violin. a very well known celebrity, mainly due to his marriage with the famous actor dorian. on the surface they seem like the typical hollywood couple, but that simply isn't the case.

edward is an incubus, who frequently preys on unsuspecting males and females in order to feed properly. he looks down on humans, and sees them as nothing more than a meal. he has lived for centuries and has never gotten caught, partly from skill and partly from sheer luck. his husband is no human either, and it's traditional for them to bring back fleshy gifts for each other.

APPEARANCE — as a human, dempsey is six foot one and keeps himself well dressed and groomed. his hair, a dirty blonde, has a black undercut. he has blue-green eyes, which are usually hidden underneath glasses or contacts. in his human form, his power is extremely limited and one of these downsides is that his vision is extremely poor. he loses the gift of true sight, and really just can't see a thing without extra help. this changes drastically once his in true incubus form. unlike his human form, which is meant to appear attractive in order to lure in prey, his incubus form is massive and hideous. it is nothing like the "sexiness" portrayed in art. he grows to stand at six foot eight, preferring to stand on four legs. his body morphs into that of a black wolf's with the face of a bat, with six golden, cat-like eyes and sharp teeth that hang over his mouth. large horns like a ram's protrude from his head, and gains a slim tail with pointed ends. his wings, massive and draconic like, are veiny and fleshy. his hands become razor sharp claws. it is in this form that he regains his true power, once again perfectly capable of seeing (and attacking.) PERSONALITY — dempsey would have been quite content to live the entirety of his life in the shadows. he's definitely not the most talkative person, nor does he tend to like the company of other people. in fact, before knowing dorian, most of his time was spent on two things: feasting and composing music. and he's had a very, very long time to do both things. music was once his only love in his life, his greatest passion. however, he never dared to pursue his love for fear of accidentally revealing his identity. after all, he use to be quite the feral and blunt creature. it took him quite some time and help with dorian to become the refined, dignified person he is now. he prefers himself much better this way, and contents himself on having more things to do in his life now. although he does enjoy some aspects of his new life, he greatly dislikes the attention he and his husband now get as celebrities. he prefers the good old days when it was just the two of them, against the world. no paparazzi, no fans screaming to date his husband, no constant news about them "splitting up and divorcing". he puts up with it best he can- after all, he's totally unable to resist his husband's wants. anything to make the love of his life happy.
