When the Pharoah Ufanwe's reign was cut short as per the Emperor's orders, her daughters fled. The princess Muriel is out in the blue yonder somewhere, ruling the Jogaanite resistance. Sineh is tending the wounds of world-weary Inniri cows. Mufinlaf courts the grey-backed hybrid like a child would.

What happened to the oldest, most misbehaved of her daughters, Elmira? She dissappeared shortly after the death of Commander Seinheild of Naquetaque and hasn't been heard of since. Rumours sprang that she had taken a one-way realspace flight to Coreward and had been marooned in Udinikan territory and learned their ways.

Madame Almirte "Pango Lin" Valsen is the chief flora and fauna consultant for the Seteris project on Coreward. Being an astronaut from Jogaan has given her valuable insight on writing a game dedicated to space colonisation and interaction with local sentients. She comes to every important public display of what Seteris has to offer and charms old Phins looking for entertainment. There has never been a more charismatic old cow in her signature maroon robes.

Behind her friendly public face, the Madame Valsen has a more sinister vocation. In the best interests of her employers, certain ideas must not surface in the world of art. Old, worn-out directors must retire before stamping all over their masterpieces. Young, foolish ones must be made to see the light of good taste. The Madame can change minds through the power of a good drink, or two. It takes time, but even the most stubborn old coot can be convinced to adopt a life of salad gardening after years of campy horror films.

Could this Almirte be Elmira of Jogaan? The names are quite alike, but everything in the language of the Stellanarsi is clicks, squeals, thuds, and whistles. It must be a bloody coincidence, given the size of the Empire. Then again, Jogaanites rarely bother to travel to Coreward with their meat bodies...
