Faithe
Faithe and her sister Elidi had been best friends from they day they were created. Both of them were beautiful angels, and everyone in Heaven adored them. The two did everything together. They went on adventures together, they went to do missions on earth together, they were practically inseparable. They even had matching dog guardians! The dogs had originally been mortals on earth, but the two angels couldn't bear to watch them struggle through life as a stray. So they took them in. Faithe's guardian, Courage, was a beautiful light brown color with pearly white wings. Elidi had named her guardian Shadow, as his fur was pitch black.One day, God called Faithe back from one of the sisters adventures to Earth. He told her that one of his archangels had been destroyed by an evil force, and that he needed a replacement. Faithe instantly accepted the duty, not realizing what the job entailed. She was now to be forever known as Faithe, the Archangel of Healing. Faithe returned to her sister, who seemed extremely happy for her! She was so happy that her sister was okay with this. She promised to continue to bring her on all of her journeys to earth to heal the humans worthy of her powers.
Faithe and Elidi ventured to earth for centuries together, healing the people that God sent her to. Faithe was always extremely pleasant and kind towards the mortals, but after a while she could tell that her sister didn't feel the same. Faithe shrugged it off, thinking that Elidi was just getting tired of their countless trips to heal the sick. However, when Elidi decided that she didn't want to go anymore, Faithe suddenly became annoyed.
"You know, this is why He chose me, Elidi! He knew that I would never get tired of helping people like you would!" Faithe cried. She flew off away from her sister and cuddled with her dear Courage. Elidi scoffed and flew away.
The next day, Faithe made her sister assist her in her visit to the City of Sin. She was afraid that she wouldn't be able to make it out of there if she had only gone with herself, but there was an old man there who was chosen by God to have his vision returned. This old man was a very old friend of Faithe's, so she was excited to be able to fix his problems. Elidi rolled her eyes, and they both flew to the entrance of the City of Sin.
There were people flooding the streets, doing horrible things that mortals should never be allowed to do do. Faithe grabbed Elidi's hand and they walked around the city attempting to find the old man. They finally found the him sitting outside of his house, and he seemed to be meditating. Elidi mumbled something about doubting Faithe's ability and walked off. Faithe walked up to her old friend, and a smile spread across her face.
After healing the old man, Faithe heard screaming coming from somewhere in the city. She flew up into the sky so quickly, the old man nearly had a heart attack. She saw her sister, and a swarm of people around her in the market place, and flew to her. Once she landed, her jaw dropped and she completely froze. Her sister had caused a man to bleed from his eyes! She watched her sister throw the man into one of the food stalls, and then met her stare. Elidi did not look like the sister she had known all these years. Her eyes were flickering red, and her wings had transformed from they're beautiful pearl color into a dark, ebony shade.
Elidi then flew up into the sky, and her sister was left to deal with the crowd. Faithe rushed over to the man in the stall and quickly healed him, apologizing for her sisters ways. She turned around to see where Elidi had went, but there was no sign of her. She flew back up to Heaven and went to cuddle with Courage. As she looked back down on earth, she couldn't see Elidi anywhere. Faithe knew where her sister had gone, as she wasn't in Heaven either. Faithe cried herself to sleep that night. She had not only lost her sister, but she had lost the only true friend that she had ever had.
