Notes on Gideon
Lost parents at early age (12 yrs old). Came to London (from Scotland) to live with relatives. Dragons as parents, raised him with courage and strength so he didn't go into utter turmoil when they died. Cried for a week, picked himself up, got on with his life and didn't want to let his parents down, or have his new life make him forget his roots. Grew up in London, often angry at how small and packed it was there compared to the mountains and lakes of Scotland. Becomes interested in cake making and craft work - delicate things to prove to himself that his bulk is not a hindrance. Gets job in university as a design technician, where he meets Noah.
As much as Gideon has perfected the art of detailed cake decorating, a tiny helper is ever so useful.
