Oh, well I've always loved baking for others, so I've dreamed of opening my own café since I was just a pup! It’s a lot of work, especially since I stock so many different products. And of course I make all the baked goods we sell myself; I get up at 4:00AM every morning! It’s taken me years to get to this point and I’m very proud of Cornsilk Café, but there’s always more to be done! Of course Fritzi and Imelda are a great help, but I really like to do as much as possible myself! • Ask something else • Say goodbye

Well there's Celadonia next door, I don't have much time for crafts so I haven't had many opportunities to pop in, but it certainly looks lovely, doesn't it? And on the other side we have our community centre, the PINK House, undergoing renovations at the moment! I try to provide as much excess stock as I can for our communal kitchen and coffee mornings, please do drop by once construction is finished! • Ask something else • Say goodbye

Hedy is a warm-hearted soul with a true passion for her craft! Although she's quite shy and seemingly unassertive, when it comes to her Café she's pragmatic and sensible to the core. Baking fresh treats for her shop and thinking up new recipes occupy most of her time, but if you pass by the café after hours you might see her sitting at a table, reading a cheap paperback left behind by a customer.
