Kushona was always in trouble. He didn't mean to be bad, sometimes bad things just happened anyway and there wasn't anything he could do about it. It always worked out in the end, though. He just figured that's how things are in a family.
He hadn't been part of his family very long, but it felt like forever. They did so many things together, surfing (and trying not to drown), eating out (and trying not to get them thrown out), painting (and getting most of the paint anywhere but the paper), and even dancing (which Kushona was actually pretty good at). Lilo told himthat there was a whole big world out there beyond the ocean, but he couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
Sometimes Lilo gets sad, or mad, and it's Kushona's job to cheer her up. Lilo sometimes still calls him her angel, which makes his's heart feel extra warm and fuzzy, not that he would admit it. He may not have been born to his family, and sometimes it's little and broken but still good. Yeah, still good.
