"Harry was just Harry" Luna said "Who else is Harry supposed to be?"
Rita was getting more annoyed by the minute, as she attempted to get something out of her that might be sensationalized for her readers. "Why don't you just tell me what you believe then? In your own words."
At this, Luna smiled happily. She was always ready to talk about the things she believed, especially with such an open-ended request. "I believe that the plight of the Crumple-Horned Snorkack should not be ignored. Far too long has their habitat been cut back for u---"
Rita groaned and tapped her quill on the paper, interrupting her "Please, you silly girl, I meant about Harry Potter and the war?"
Luna nodded but let the smile drop from her face a little bit. "Well, Harry faced off against Voldemort, and won." She said simply. "I believe that's what you wanted to know."
Rita could not hide the scowl that was forming across her face. Why couldn't she have found anyone other than this girl? "Look, I'm just going to ask you one last time, then I'm going to find someone else who's head isn't full of fluff. Was Harry the Chosen One, yes or no?"
"Yes" Luna said, her smile coming back. "Harry was indeed the chosen one. So were Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Neville, and all the rest of Dumbledore's Army. We were all chosen ones. Chosen ones that were here when the school and our friends needed us. I do love my friends very much."
Rita stood up, anger evident in her face and body language. "If they have friends like you, then I pity them." She said evilly before leaving the livingroom of the crumpling Lovegood home. As she left, Luna turned around and called out "It's okay, she's gone now."
Out of what was left of her room came her closest and dearest friends. Ginny walked over and placed an arm around her shoulder, giving her a side hug. Ron and Hermione cast a glance at Harry before walking over to them. Even Neville seemed to be grateful.
"Well done, Luna" Harry said, picking up a piece of debris and throwing it into a pile to be magicked away later.
"Yeah, you were right brilliant." Ron smiled, placing an arm around Hermione.
"Thank you." She said, a slight blush coming across her face. She looked out of the ruins of her house, and to the people that had made her feel like she was someone important. It didn't matter that her house was blown to smithereens. When she was with her friends, she was truly home, and she would do anything for them.
