She can take the most complicated things in life and wrap them up so small and simple, they will fill right in your pocket

It was one of those lazy mornings when the sun could cross the window blinds and reach part of the rug across the room. That's Loreta's favorite place in the first hours of the day, when the front door bell begins to ring, announcing new customers ready to meet their new best friends.

Loreta felt the warmth on her paws, and stretched. The adoption center was not very busy that day, but her friends were already wandering aimlessly around the little adoption center hall, showing off their beautiful fur and long tails.

Loreta was unconcerned, she liked the adoption center. What could be better than making new friends every day? It's right that she also said goodbye to many others too, but these comings and goings were natural to her.

Maybe a part of her liked to say this to herself so she wouldn't be upset every time the hall door closes in front of her, with a client leaving and she staying at home.

But today she just wanted to sleep a few hours more and then look for sunflowers in the gardens. She had just closed her eyes, the front door bell rang loudly through the room. It was a young, smiling girl, coming toward her.

"Hey there!" ─ and stroked her brown hair tenderly ─ "would you perhaps want a new home?"

Loreta was not surprised. She knew things would work out when the time comes, and they all would find a happy home. It's unmistakable. Every human heart is chained to the love for a pet.
