Little is known about Siraaj, even by those who are closest to him.

He's from a tiny, entirely Empowered country, referred to by outsiders as "Kadarsha", which aided the Empire nonviolently during their most recent war. Their assistance remains unacknowledged and skewed by history due to the Empire's conflict with Kadarsha during the final months of battle.

Like most of his village, Siraaj was taken prisoner as a result of the conflict. He was moved around for a while before he was forced to fight in an illegal ring hidden deep within the walls of a tiered city. He was bought by a man who owned a protection agency and, like many others who serve under him, he offered Siraaj a chance to work off his debt.

Naturally quiet and intimidating due to his build, Siraaj found few allies in his time in Arcade's employment. The first team he was placed with died simultaneously when a building collapsed- an event which ignorant rumors blame him for due to his ability to manipulate stone and Earth. He primarily avoids his new team by wandering the tunnels that weave through the city's cliff side and busying himself with the other tasks he's been assigned.
