Her life had been a series of blows. One thing after the other. First her father, then her mother, then her sister, but her sister is still alive, still out there. That allows her to keep going when most people would have given up long before now. Other people say she's cold and distant but that's only because they don't understand what she's been through. They don't understand that's how she has to be in order to keep standing, keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Yes, the world has taken nearly everything from Vetetime, but it will not take her drive to protect the one person she has left in this world. So she'll harden her heart, and harden her skill, and push forward through whatever the world throws at her. Her name is Vetetime, and she won't give up.
