Joseph is basically the main antagonist in Archibald's story/timeline. He's extremely bitter over the fact that Tredaya's throne was passed over to his twin sister Georgiana instead of him, and, following her death, is now in the hands of her once-peasant husband, Archibald. His whole story revolves around him scheming to steal the throne from his brother-in-law, with some reluctant help from his younger brother Monty. Another obstacle in his way, however, is Archibald's young daughter Gwendolyn who will inherit the throne should he die. So basically Joseph's plan is off Archibald somehow and manipulate his poor little impressionable daughter into doing his bidding and eventually off her as well (only then will the throne pass on to him) so yeah he's not very nice lol i'm still kinda developing this but that's the gist atm hooray
