lorelai reed. twenty six. female. japanese. smells like catnip and coffee. her fondest childhood memory is that of a warm spring afternoon, when she accompanied her parents to a quaint family owned café, where a young tabby spent the entirety of the meal purring away on her lap. this event set in motion her passion for animals and service - she knew she wanted to work in a café just like this one someday!

she worked hard to prove herself a diligent and reliable worker, hoping someday she would get her opportunity; the café of her memories had since dissolved, forced to shut down due to lack of funds. she worried she would never find a place like it again. throughout her teenage years, she found herself delving into a different subculture entirely; maids! her passion for service, her positive attitude, and her desire to please made her the perfect candidate. she could think of nothing that would make her happier than leaving others with a smile.

at the age of nineteen, she began working at a maid café, and always made sure to go the extra mile - crafting her own beautiful accessories (often large and colorful bows!) for her maid's uniform, and always being sure to show off with a twirl as soon as she reached the table. she was incredibly energetic, and her happiness was often contagious. in her years working, she also found a passion for all things sweet: snacks, treats, sweet buns, and even sugary drinks - as long as it's delicious!

at the age of twenty five, she was finally able to realize her dream - and much more fully than she had ever imagined! she heard rumors of a local café, with purring cats named after delicious desserts - oh, her heart could almost burst from excitement! there, she met the ever wonderful and kind owner - who answered only to ricotta, after the style of desserts she specialized in, and baked fresh every morning for the display. with enough convincing, lorelai was given an interview, and eventually, her dream job.

she works hard every single day to make ricotta proud, and to find homes for the beautiful cats that the café houses; her boss finds and rescues the kitties, and funds future rescues with profits from her sweets. this is where lorelai really shines - due to her attentiveness to people, she is often able to match people up with the perfect adoptable cat when they come in to enjoy a tasty treat!

to describe lorelai in a few words, she is friendly, gentle, attentive, compassionate, and motivated. she loves making friends and being around people; no one is a stranger to this kind girl. sometimes she can seem a bit overzealous at times, but she always means well. overall, she is a pretty easy girl to figure out; she just wants to be happy, make others happy, and be surrounded by fluffy felines. she dedicates much of her time to her craft, keeping ricotta's café sparkling and welcoming. if you need anything, do not hesitate to ask the girl in the maid uniform - she would be happy to be at your service!
