From a young age, Shey'a carried a more independent and slightly rebellious air. He enjoyed studying magic and often used his talents to create mild mischief, until X'rhun Tia found him and took him in as a student and acted as a father figure. As Shey'a aged, his interest in the arcane arts continued to grow and he split off to travel on his own to expand his knowledge.

With the growth of his skills, so too did his confidence grow to the point where he often comes off as smug and sometimes condescending in regards to his specialized subjects. He does not refuse to help those who request his assistance, but it does come at the cost of him explaining things as if he's talking to a child more often than not.

Shey'a isn't all sarcasm and an inflated ego, however. He is kind and loyal to those he is close to and those he cares about, even if he's still likely to give them a hard time once in a while. When an ally is in need, Shey'a will often be one of the first to offer his support be it in combat or personal matters.
