Triceratops the Dawn Bhakoru • Owner: Ariel

Triceratops tricornus
(trahy-ser-uh-tops trahy-kawrn-uhs)

Triceratops were among several of the stocky horned members of the ceratopsian family. They lived within the Cretaceous period (around 70 million years ago) and survived on a vegetarian diet. The plume behind their necks often reached over 6 feet in length. This specific species, T. tricornus, is the rarest of all, and is known best for their 3 spiraled horns. There are only 4 other specimens known to exist.
