(Invalid img)Please call me Vic. My favorite color is blue: the color of the sky high above and the oceans far below. It's the color of everything I love best when I get to take my beloved biplane on travels, errands and adventures. I love all animals, but especially birds. I think we all want to fly like superheroes as children, but I wanted to fly like a bird. No immediate danger making you rush to your destination and miss the scenery. When you fly like a bird you can take your time, scout the landscape, and really enjoy what is around you. I suppose I do have deadlines when I'm making pickups and deliveries for my Yun Enterprises, but there are still times when I can fly for me. Subeta is a beautiful place if you stop to look at it. I know I must sound like a dreamer, but my friends all consider me to be the logical one, and I suppose they're right. After years of friendship with [Adriette Lockwell], [Garret Fox] and [Jules Yun], I've mediated several spats and kept us all reasonably close. I think it's amazing to have friends you can fight with and know it's all right, because you'll still be friends the next day. When I'm not working for Yun Enterprises or tinkering with my plane, you will find me with them. Adriette and I have been friends since we were little girls. Even at that age, it was always obvious how different we were. While Adriette was pinning her curls and making jewelry for her dolls, I was busy taking their toy vehicles apart to see if I could make them work better. As we've grown older, those differences have made themselves more manifest, but in a way, I think we balance each other out. I know some people might consider her shallow and perhaps a bit oblivious, but under all of that is just a girl who loves to be loved. Don't we all? I wouldn't change anything about her. Garret is a bit like a big brother to me. He started calling me "Magpie" a few years ago after I learned how to fly my plane. Every time I'd take a trip, I'd come back with all of the trinkets and treasures from the places I'd visited. It's probably one of my favorite nicknames because it comes from someone who knows me well. We sort of have a special bond since we're so close to Jules; we've both spent many long hours conversing with him, comforting him after the death of his mother, supporting him when he tries to repair his relationship with his father, and trying to ease all the tension between him and Adriette. I know we can count on each other when we need to have a rant.I think I might identify with Jules more than anyone else. He seems to have a hard time getting people to understand him and his emotions, and sometimes, being a female engineer who enjoys rather boyish hobbies, I feel the same way. Maybe that's why I do so well listening to him going on about how he doesn't understand Adriette and her emotions sometimes. I wish I could explain how very different they are, but how that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Poor, Jules. He's so loyal to a fault. |
