I’m autistic. I don’t do well with social interactions. I tend to make things awkward or unintentionally annoy people. Please be patient and understand that those are not my intentions. Though I understand that my intentions don’t matter sometimes. If I’ve said or done something to upset you, I take full responsibility and understand if you block me. I’m not going to play the “oh I’m autistic so you can’t be upset with me” game. I’m an adult. And as such, I understand that my actions/words have consequences.
I take things very literally and am very straightforward. I ask a lot of clarifying questions, to make sure that we’re on the same page. I cannot read between the lines and will not know if you’re upset with me unless you tell me directly (and why) I will apologize and work towards doing better if it’s explained to me.
There’s honestly so much more I could put here. I just mainly want yall to know that I am a very difficult person to deal with because of my autism. But I do enjoy the community here and like interacting with yall. -
