This is a VERY rough draft for the introduction to the world building I am doing for both a book I intend on writing and the world that my pets reside in. Please ignore spelling errors etc as I am normally an intense editor but I wanted to get something up here so I felt more motivated to continue development and Character information. This is not hell. No, it is not heaven. Purgatory? No,no,no. Now. Let me be the one who asks the questions. Please do take into account that if you lie, I will know. This is your only chance.
Are you ready?
Well then, now that you have answered all of my questions I am going to have to introduce you to a few concepts that might be a little hard to swallow, but had you not made it through my trial, I would consider your mind unprepared. But I have faith you can take it.
As for the aformentioned Heaven and Hell, well, frankly no concept of these really exist. But the mind is powerful and you will see some of your new friends as denezins of such corporeal realms. Angels, deamons and even ghosts. But I can assure you, they are just like you. Tangible in body and in spirit.
I know, you have many questions but I am going to have to graciously ask that you stop interrupting me, now, where were we? Oh yes! So it is most common that everyone who comes through my gates assume one of two things. That there is one dimensions, timeline or reality or there are more than any can count. However, not unlike most human concepts the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
Same as it is with concepts such as good and evil, wrath and mercy or love and hate. None of them are quite as black and white as they seem. Which, of course you will soon learn through the new life bestowed on you.
Calm down! I am not sending you to the great abyss my word! Besides, your soul has lived more lifetimes that you can count. And you are now ready for something a little more stable. You see, here in Dominion there is a constant, stable reality. This reality is the thread holding the patchwork of the universe together. The people who live in Dominion and the many Boroughs and City’s are wards of the other lands, like the one you came from. We protect those places from breeches in their perception of life, as there are those who wish to disrupt the peace that has been maintained as long as time itself.
Of course I have no idea how long time has been around, that’s a question no one will have an answer for you, so better to just leave that thought where it lie, as well as the other things you have been chattering on about and just simply listen.
You are now a part of a world that you will reside in for eternity. So you have a good amount of time to ponder that. And no, time will not feel odd or fleeting to you, you will not feel as though a day is a second or some other strange concept humans have come up with to explain the inability for one to live forever, and the downsides that would come with it. Instead you will reincarnate, take on different roles and responsibilities. You will remember your past and friends. But you will change a bit each time, of course. Parents? We don’t have those here but don’t fret you will be taken care of. Cast aside all of your burdens and frets. I will hand you off now to my friend here, and you will find your place with their help.
