Married for 15 years.
Life is good.
Mama to 2 cats.
Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type 2 in 2007 and PTSD stemming from past traumatic issues in 2013.
Certified Pharmacy Tech/Professional Writer & Editor - I earned a BA in English with a concentration in Professional Writing.
I believe in the credoes "NO DAY BUT TODAY" and "Love yourself first and everything else falls into line." I also think Lucille Ball was a brilliant genius.
I'm addicted to TV shows like The Golden Girls and Law and Order SVU, and to watching movies of almost all kinds (I refuse to watch anything involving animal harm or cannibalism).
I have a low tolerance for drama and bullshit. Please keep me out of both. :) Thanks!
If you send me a friend request and we do not have mutual friends, I will say no 9 times out of 10. However, if you have outside resources that give me an idea of who you are (FB, Instagram, etc) and I find you interesting and fun, I may add you without any mutual friends.

As written by Maya Angelou
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
‘Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own backyard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
as written by Robert Frost
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
without all of the things
That people say
Everybody's talking all this stuff about me
Why don't they just let me live?
I don't need permission, make my own decisions
That's my prerogative" - from "My Prerogative" by

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.
Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.
"Forgive, sounds good
Forget, I'm not sure I could

But I'm still waiting"

Average minds discuss events.
Small minds discuss people."
