Profile to ProfileMost everyone agrees the second one is the best, and it does have a great story. I'd say the third is my favorite, probably because I've beat it, lol. My favorite ghost is also in it.
The first is definitely my least favorite, it's got an interesting story, but the low health, lack of film, and strong ghosts make it really hard. The other two I've played have more health, film, and the ghosts are challenging, but not cut-a-third-from-a-full-health-bar hard.Carpathia

Profile to ProfileCool :) I love the series, though the only one I've been able to finish is the third one. I got stuck on the third night I think in the first one. My sister also has it on her PS3 and she's playing it for the first time as well.
