So, about me:

I'm older than I seem, I'm less girly than I look...
Basically appearances can be deceiving. I try to be straightforward, but somehow, until people get to know me, they never seem to know who I really am.

All that aside, I'm usually happy, but with a sometimes dark sense of humor. I love bright colors and rainbows, sparkles and shiny plastic things.

At the same time, I have some strong political/moral beliefs that are very important to me. One of the ones I'm proudest of is that I'm a vegan, and I have been since July 2007. I don't expect everyone to think the same way I do or to conform to my beliefs just to get along easier (in fact that annoys me to no end). Even though animal rights and anti-speciesism is really important to me, I definitely don't try to "convert" people to that or any of my other beliefs. I do try to inform people when I think it's appropriate.
