The keeper of my own skies, I hope to fly with them again another day.
I hold them close to my heart, and know to never let them go.
To face hard times and continue on my way.
They will shine as bright as ever above my head as the moon will flow.
Piece by piece, I can't help but shed these tears.
These marks have been left as scars, but blessed ones that form who I am.
It all helps to wash away all of the giant and angry fears.
Bringing me forever closer, be in paw or hand.
The rain is thick and the pain is crippling.
But I know the love from you all will cover me with wings combined.
As you soar, waiting for me to return, watching my memories rippling.
I can't wait for that day where we all find our peace and are never again confined.
