xD Just as badass, but much more - I don't want to say reliable - but in a way it's just that. You won't have to worry about your babarian suddenly acting like the groups healer. There are going to be more and less pleasing NPCs but Bob's just too unique to create something like him.

well... crackle only a little bit, for the most part they should be quite entertaining, at least for the player. But your character might as well start to like one or the other after getting to know them. It might take a while until you meet them anyways
