| You feel as if someone is watching you, and as your eyes dart across the poorly illuminated halls, you spy a stranger eyeing you up. Was it a man? You are unsure, but your attention was transfixed on the creature in the rabbit mask. It was discolored and warned down, and yet you couldn't help but feel intrigue as your feet started to move on their own. As you got closer and closer, you became sure that it was, in fact, a man. Although as that question was answered, even more began to pop up. Who is this strange man standing by himself? Why were they staring at you? ...And what was wrong with his eyes? It wasn't until you were stopped in front of them that you realized that one - the yellow one on the right -was fake. And yet, the intensity of his stare balanced out between both oddly colored irises. Your eyes caught the hint of a smile underneath that dusty old mask, before he began to speak. "Hello, luv," he said, leaning forward just enough so you caught the whiff of - was that blood? Surely, that was blood - on his breath. The pungent odor caught you off guard, and you began to feel faint before he asked; "Care for a game?" |
