Personality: He's a shy, timid young man who tends to keep to himself. He's a quiet person, who likes his privacy. He's reclusive, and it's very rare to see him outside of his home. He's secretive and very protective of his belongings. Nexus doesn't open up to people easily, and it takes quite a while to earn his trust.

Likes: science, nature, peace and quiet, bird watching, warm weather/temperatures, privacy, when people respect his personal bubble, clear night skies, when people respect him/his wishes, quiet people, seclusion, and taking walks on the beach alone.
Dislikes: scientists who do tests on live subjects, loud noises, sparks/fire, needles, physical pain, heights, when people invade his personal space, people who don't know when to quiet down, and reptiles.

Occupation: Student/scientist-in-training [formerly a test subject]

Other: He was kidnapped at a young age from his family home one night by a group of corrupt scientists. The men were looking for new subjects to test cruel, and often fatal, new procedures on. He was held captive by the men for several years,and used as a test subject for some fairly horrific tests. The tests left his body scarred and nearly mangled at times, causing him to have serious health problems. He's half-blind, unable to see with his right eye, and he walks with a limp due to a once-broken femur that healed incorrectly. Around age 19, he manged to escape the men's facility and find a safe haven, living with a young man named Aelte while he recovered. To this day, he lives in the upstairs of Aelte's home.

About his outfit: Nexus always wears long sleeves, to covered up the scars that criss-cross his chest and arms. He tends to wear thicker clothing, so that "they have less of a chance to be ripped off." And due to his sensitive eyes, he often has to wear goggles when outside--on the rare occasions that he does go outside.
