The Story of Beanna

One of the Desert Spirits began to follow Beanna. She was unsure of why the spirit was following her, and only knew it was a Desert Spirit because she saw one creature, while everyone else each saw a different creature following her. She simply called it what it was in its own language - Ø¬Ù†Ù‘ - and was content to acknowledge their connection. She realised only later why the creature was following her.

Recently, Beanna has become curious about what appears to be a mortal who has been frequenting the Sacred Lands, visiting the Temple of Shinwa and the Coliseum. The Neela suspect there's something odd about her, and has since begun to do as Ø¬Ù†Ù‘ did to her - she now follows the mortal, even though the being has left the Sacred Lands. This mortal is kind, and sees that Beanna is fed, groomed, and even has taken the Neela to a training facility; she is unsure of what to think of all this, but Beanna is willing to give this mortal a chance.

Now the Neela realises why the spirit began to follow her - she would spend less and less time in the Sacred Lands, and part of the desert would always be with her, wherever she may be.
