His old home wasn't safe anymore. He ran until his legs couldn't carry him anymore, and that's when he ended up with Chrimsons gang. They offered him protection, and he proudly offered his strength.
His tasks became shady after a while. Minor things at first - patrol their self-imposed border here, tell off a stranger there. He felt weird at first, but he didn't want to anger the ones who had just taken him in so nicely.
When the time had come to bare his teeth at an intruder for the first time, he wasn't asking questions anymore. They were his family and treated him nicely. If in order to keep this harmony he had to fight off strangers, then so be it.
As time passed, he became more and more accustomed to horrible tasks. Soon he had no problem with violently fighting off anyone who Chrimson declared an intruder.
For a while there had been this rumor about a new household in their neighborhood that had been taking in pets, just like they did. Chrimson warned her gang of them. They might try to soften them up and recruit some from the stray family. The household kept an experiment that kept shifting shape and didn't even seem fully conscious. For Chrimson, this was a sign that the human was doing terrible things to her pets and she decided to get rid of them.
At this point, Harrassment was ready to do anything to keep this family together.
Then that Glacier Montre came. He came from the household tried to spy on them, but he got caught. Harrassment was the one to imprison him. He was on guard duty for the night and after a while, he started listening to the Montre. He talked about how he cared for this Ruffie called Sparkworld, and the other pets in the household. Harrassment listened and realized that they all weren't too different from him. They also just wanted to be a family.
Later, Chrimson whispered into his ear: "Don't fall for his lies, they'll say anything to brainwash you!" but something had already resonated with him. Who said the household would be the only ones capable of brainwashing?
