A sack of decent quest rewards fell into Norretichs hand.
"Yesss!" she double-checked her account. "Finally enough!"
Saggitarius, who was already on his way out, stopped briefly. "Hm?"
"Uh, for the Blacklight Potion I was saving up for" she said.
He turned towards her with mild attention.
"You've been running all these errands for THAT? How much is it?"
"Uh, twenty-two million?" Norretich said, feeling ashamed.
"Oh, my..." Saggitarius sighed, walking over to a nearby cupboard. He got out a Blacklight Potion and handed it over. "Use that money on some investment lessons."
He turned away again. Half-way gone he muttered: "What do you even need that for?"
Spectrogram hadn't always been the way he was now. He didn't even start out as a Cadogre. In a series of experiments, his mind was transferred into one against his will. Feeling wrong in his new shiny red body he fled into making electronic music to cope. His coping turned into obsession. He neglected himself so much that his mechanical body became rusty and he turned into a Marsh Cadogre. Being even unhappier in this shape, he only sank further into self-neglect, until he decided that he needed help.
Norettich ran down the basement stairs towards the door that had music pumping behind it. "Spectrogram! Spectrogram!"
The Marsh Cadogre put down his headphones between his towers of Synthesizers.
"I got something for you. It'll make the best out of this body and bring your passion to the next level - This will bring you up on stage!"
