They had lived for a very long time upon the galactic home world. After a few centuries of solitude in a mundane research position the boredom and soul crushing loneliness finally set in. In a moment of spontaneity it was decided to try applying for the O.P.R.D (Other Planet Research Division.) With a hopeful heart, bags were packed and plans were made and finalized. World Subeta, what would this strange new world have in store? What odd wonderful beings and things would there be to find and see?

It was a long 8 month journey to the outer quadrant but once the transport ship had docked into the orbital XR base that hovered above the strange and exotic home world Subeta and it's satellite moon Delha felt only sheer relief from finally getting there. And a building excitement of soon being able to explore and make new discoveries set in. Delha quickly set out to stealthily obtain some scientific samples and baseline specimens for research. Grabbing up a field kit and slipping on some personal translucency, translation, and net band generators to remain unseen and understand the locals when needed by this strange new world's wild and wonderful inhabitants Delha jumped into a personal pod port and set a course to the new worlds nearest beach area.

Half way through the planets atmosphere was when it all went FUBAR. All of the radars showed nothing was wrong or malfunctioning, yet the pod port spun wildly as it dropped down at a hard angle into the unforgiving waves below. Delha, dizzy and confused stared at the blank outer viewing screens and sighed before popping the hub hatch open only to freeze in horror. Was this new being violent? Would it prod, probe, or mutilate their ears while keeping Delha a prisoner? Standing upon a high cliff hanging over the crashed port pods main deck stood the oddest brightly color splotched, black fox creature Delha had ever seen.

The curator of the Ravers Gallery of Fine Arts, Miss Nefas couldn't help but be amused by how her day was going. It wasn't every day that you get to actually see a supposed UFO, but to have a REAL flying saucer almost crash land right on top of you? That was epically novel. She had been happily painting the seascape for her sea shores collection when BAM! Suddenly UFO! Spitting out her paintbrush with a laugh, she couldn't help but grin down at the obviously terrified, yet beautiful golden eyed alien wolf that had popped out of the downed vessel and was staring up and her. As a native to Subeta, she had seen so very many weird and outright bizarre things over her life so far. This wasn't even on par to the more unmentionable moments. She had no clue why but she blurted out exactly what she was thinking. "You may wanna see someone about having that checked out, the landings seem a bit rough!"

Delha was completely dumbstruck but knew that everything would be just fine right then and there. After giving a confused and hesitant nod they climbing up onto the cliff and sat down near the fox. Delha stared forlornly down at their mangled pod with a sigh. The foxes loud yipping laughter pealed out over the waves as she walked fearlessly near and grinned at the space wolf. "It could be worse you know?" Delha couldn't help but wonder how she could think such.

Nefas didn't hesitate to explain why she thought so. "Well you're unhurt and still got your tail right? All four feet are all still there too, so I'd count that as total a win! Um unless you're supposed to have a few more of either or... Oh jeez, that would really suck!" The fox cuddled her tail and stared with bright hopeful eyes up at the alien wolf. This being made Delha feel happier then they could ever remember and they had only just met. What was this feeling? The oddly colorful native foxes warm grin and next words would change the lonely space wolfs life forever. "Soo yeah, anywho.. Hi, I'm Nefas. I'm a Jollin, I love music, raves, and my work as a full time artist. I'm your girl if you need or want a local guide. I think that you're an incredibly lovely space cadet btw."

Delha couldn't help but grin back. They moved to sit at her side before looking out over the waves. Delha felt a bit shy but hopeful as they answered. "I'm Delha. I'm a space wolf, master scientist, and would adore having your company. In fact, I think that we'll get along just fine... But please, could you tell me what exactly is a rave?"

Yes joining the O.P.R.D and making the trip to O.P: Subeta turned out to be the best decision the space wolf XR-42 CN: Delha had ever made...
