Not too long ago there was an eccentric self proclaimed researcher named Sommerherz. Any thing which took his fancy he researched. This explorative research started as a boy when he became interested in faeries. As these things happen he accidentally caused a curse upon a large spread Faerie Kingdom. The faeries changed becoming something very unfairy like. A few became minions. These were the lucky ones altho they didnot think so.Sommerherz became obsessed with the idea of creating instead of destroying. He started a process of combining species a bit like zapping. His first successful try was with a chicken and dog. Anamarie was the result. Sommerherz did this experiment many times as he liked the result. Colours varied and the species was very beautiful. Always the beautiful feathers had the eye pattern. Even the all rare white ones. Only once did it fail. Once the dog did not change species it remained a species but it changed color and form Sommerherz named him Aule. The chicken of the experiment remained sort of a chicken. Much larger than the normal chicken and clucked loudly, almost a screech. Sommerherz lost interest in the chicken.He experimented with a cat and chicken. This experiment was a disaster, the cat changed drastically and the chicken disappeared. Ashbel had the highest intelligence of any known animal. Sommerherz never tried this experiment again. Ashbel had the strangest effect on the professor.The professor started worrying over what would happen to these animals that had no instincts. They could not protect themselves. The exception was Ashbel.
