Garma granted is a fairly new one, and I've grown to like M'quve dispite only running into him in DWG3 ( my ex did show me episodes of the origonal gundam) Those two have been prominant in my RPs lately -long story short I have a massive crossover RP I do with friends and "empowered" charactors tend to be involved-

Many of my friends HATE Kira ironicly for the same reasons you mentioned with Shinn ( hence the "whinny baby" or "crybaby kira" nicknames). I'm not a major fan but I don't hate Kira. Then again he shows far less of that side in the games then the anime. For the most part i'm just neutral or just tolerate him. Shinn's just a bigger mess, when the righting is on the wall that he's going about this the wrong way he refuses to listen. I was actually VERY conflicted in the Seed destany story mode in DWG until control switched to Kira. Katajina is a massive issue in DWG3 at lest ( in reborn she's less so...but I still have moments with her), that event of her's nearly cost me afew missons.

In the franchise over all ( expect a pattern with my faves as others noted before) In no paticular order my faves are Char, Sorocco, Ribbons, Zechs/Milliardo, Ginias, Frontal, Trezie, Azeal, Rau Le Cruset, M'quve, Garma, Alliujiah/Halliujia and Dur-whatever his name is from seed destany- Yazak and Domon's brother are starting to get my attention though. >_< Only two charactors I can't STAND so far ( again based on the games) are Katajina and recently Shinn. Shinn's fine until his role in Seed Destany is brought up.....Katajina is just a pain EVERYWHERE ( minus the fact her suit is awsome)
