Halcyon Profile to Profile | I'm so sorry I haven't replied in so long; I've been dealing with issues that pretty much made me only have 3 hours of sleep and been drained (and chronic pain is popping up a lot). Thank you so much for the gifts, I truly appreciate them! I used them on my battle pet immediately. Also, I forgot the event was going on! It's vacation week, so it's been more involved at home with activities. Thank you for all the flowers. I'm trying to send them back but I am not getting any floating flowers for some reason. I'll keep trying my best, though. As for the other things like kisses and GA, you're always welcome and I'm happy you enjoyed it! The post eating pain sort of stopped, then something else started. I have a lot of issues apparently, but I don't like talking about it a lot because it really messes with my mood. You get it, though. Trying supplements etc, and seeing how it will go. It was our 21st anniversary yesterday (10th) so we went on a drive and got salmon to cook, which was awesome. We were supposed to do sushi but we got back to town too late (everything closes at 9 pm). We'll get it later, though. It was fun. I don't leave the house much; that was the first time in 6 months. I get a bit re reclusive the longer I don't leave plus the winter is super cold here and yeah, lol. Have you been feeling better? You mentioned wanting to get into shape more. How are your succulents? Is the weather pleasant or still colder? Weather has been so nuts all over the place. Has your fibro and spasms improved? I use a big rice bag sometimes that's heated in the microwave. I've also tried turmeric curcucim which seemed to help. I take ibuprofen for my pain and an all natural roller substance that actually works, but I'm always worried about other issues from taking OTC nsaids. I always feel so sad for anyone that has to deal with pain and discomfort with little to no recourse. So, don't force yourself to reply if you're feeling it and don't have enough energy; I totally get it. I'm appreciate the mutual understanding. We have all sorts of things like we had 2 feeet or so of snow, then we had wind gusting at 70+ (100 in some areas) that knocked out power all around our area. Ours was out for 12 hours and the house got to 34 degrees inside. Power was out for others way into the next day after. I'm hoping it won't get really hot this spring/summer since it seems to be a trigger for things (plus I'm heat intolerant and light sensitive...sensory issues, right?) sunlight hits the broad side of the house and the swamp cooler hasn't been hooked to water since we moved in because the pump from the well wasn't automatic. It is now, though. It takes us forever to get anything done due to executive dysfunction issues we both have. Little by little we move forward, lol. How is the issue with your last place going? Did you get the summons yet? I hope it hasn't been more stressful. I haven't been writing (or doing anything lately) due to the issues I've told you about. I still want to. How has your writing been going? I keep getting ideas for things, too. I started a new audiobook, Grass by Sheri S. Tepper. I like seeing how others write but I also love anything creepy or sci-fi. You said you do t share your works, so I take it you enjoy writing as a passion close to your heart? I love creating characters and worlds, sort of like making a world just for yourself. In other news, we're going to try to make natto and kimchi! Did you make the Belgian waffles with apple? We might make apple turnovers tomorrow :) |
Halcyon Profile to Profile | No problem :) I want to thank you for all the candy/kisses! I feel so bad that I haven't been participating as much in the last couple of days. I hope I will have more energy from now on! Don't ever worry about not responding right away or even quickly, I understand we both have things we manage :). It's actually comforting knowing the person you are talking to understands this sort of thing. Yeah, I love them! I don't have any at the moment, in fact, only have one female cat. We have a problem child, TOO (the orange one), and he's just... ugh, well you get it, lol. He's stubborn and does what he wants, but he's not stupid or mean. He's probably the most willful of all the cats. We have to redo the entire house sometime at the end of the year or next year (circumstances will change) and I want them to have a good cat life with shelves and windows and houses etc. It's super tough if you don't have a lot of room, so I sympathize (especially when renting - we never put any holes in the walls except where I put pins in a blanket to black out the window in the bedroom). Cats get easier when they get older (and we technically have 3 "kittens"). As for that pain? It came and went, like everything else, and it brought my shoulder pain back and *that* was worse because it's chronic and doesn't stop. I found out that turmeric works like a charm for it, but it only works with fatty foods and at that point, I could only eat like 1/4 of what I could eat. I am still not eating the same amount, but most everything has stopped. I had been sleeping on a foam mattress, and that was horrible; took that off and I went back to an air mattress, which was fine until it wasn't. We had one of those bed in a box type things, but it hurts to sleep on so I wasn't fine until we got a futon, which solved everything. I hope this is over with because I really get sick and tired of being sick and tired and it makes me unsociable (which you totally get). It made me slow to respond and I have sleep issues anyway, but I managed to get into subeta! I totally get not being on Subeta as much. I actually go through periods where I get burnt out. I do this with everything, though. I have a hard time focusing on most everything, mostly due to health circumstances or mood. Real life really can become your focus, especially when it involves cats! That's funny about the cornbread. The corn chowder was good and easy to digest, but I did prefer it sweeter. Cornbread is really nice for being sweet. Right now we are making buttermilk biscuits and figured out how to make them super fluffy. Yeah, sometimes even just getting outside can be hard (at least for me). I am hoping to try more this year, depending on the weather. I can't really do any heat or sun, so it can be challenging. I am super happy you found a nice place to walk around and just enjoy nature and your new place! I hope it doesn't get too hot there. It's important to feel comfortable, especially when you might be tired or hurting etc. I hope it gets better and better every day and you discover more new and exciting things to experience. Oh, that must be a little nerve wracking. I don't know if you are like me, but having anything floating around in the future like that would make me feel all kinds of not great. I do hope this gets resolved quickly and easily and without any more stress. That's awesome! I have been writing, too. I forgot what I said before, but I started like 7-8 new stories. I do it for fun, though. I don't really want to publish or anything like that, so I just write them for myself. I also love creating, too. I think I was born to just make things. My mind is always making things up or linking things together, so like a flow of creative energy happening despite what I might look like I am doing (often nothing!) I think it's perfectly awesome to live for creation or creating things. People like that are what make the world colorful and interesting. Right? It feels like time has sped up a lot for me (but sometimes, I think it's been hours and I see only 15 mins have passed!) |
