Profile to ProfileI had planned on getting either a shelter kitty or a dog, but then I decided to just get some pet shop parakeets instead and let me tell you one thing, they make excellent pets. People forget that their STILL part of the parrot family too and they have our typical cheerful and playful parrot personality, but what I love about them is that their not as DESTRUCTIVE as bigger parrots. My 3 birds sing all day and night and the 3 of them get along very well together. They play with big toys just like big parrots too! operationivy
Profile to ProfileI was thinking about getting a shelter kitty or a dog before I got the parakeets too as I love ALL animals. I only had ONE kitty of my own when I was 18, but Coco was a WONDERFUL kitty in every way and very sweet and affectionate. We never had pet cats when I was growing up but we had dogs, Spring spaniels and I love dogs very much. I had a parakeet as a kid and a guinea pig too and fish. I loved my childhood guinea pig so much. I was thinking about getting another guinea pig too as I love small pets. -
