Journal Entry 467:

Today, I finally graduated and have my Ph.D. in Biochemistry. I was offered a position at a small research firm from a Random man in the audience in the graduation ceremony. Due to the substantial amount of debt I have amassed from student loans, I am currently considering accepting their offer. I still can't believe believe I accepted loans from GraveStomper. Everyone warned me that he would swindle me but he was quite generous.

Journal Entry 470:

All moved into my new laboratory at M. Inc. I have yet to find out what the M. stands for or my employers real name. His actions and speech patterns are quite random and he tends to leave leave out so many details. Turns out, that I am allowed to research whatever I choose to research. Occasionally, I will be given a substance to research but the tests are completely up to me. My first assignment was some dark matter. Of course, that's a basic (but powerful) substance in Subeta so I did some routine analysis on the matter at hand

Working on a new project to transform one's skin into a tougher texture. Lizards, alligators, and other amphibians are my current inspiration for this project. More to come.

Journal Entry 480:

The Random, the actual name of my mysterious middleman (still haven't learned what the M. in M. Inc. stands for...), said they had a test subject for the serum I created to toughen the skin. He says he will report the results to me after the tests. I wonder who they will be using for the tests.

Journal Entry 483:

My next project was dropped on my desk before I got to my lab. It was a metal case with a nuclear logo on it. Inside, was radioactive substances. A note was also included saying I was to research the regenerative properties of nuclear energy. Usually this would be a chemists job but if used properly, nuclear energy could speed up the healing process. More research to come.

Journal Entry 484:

GraceStomper paid me a visit today for an installment on my loans. He seemed less pleasant than usual. Also seemed in a rush. Unfortunately, I don't earn much sPs yet so I was unable to pay this installment.

I inquired about the M. in M. Inc. to the Random. He said that I, "ask too many questions, kid. And if you keep coming around Dhori might pay you a visit. So, stop asking." I will figure this out, eventually.
