Harm was adopted as a baby into a noble family living in the Sacred Lands. He has been regarded as extremely beautiful from a young age. However, he never had much of a personality. He rarely left the manor, and his only friend was his adopted brother, Haydin. His adopted parents were never around much, which didn't help.

Harm did have some things he enjoyed to do. He loved to roam the gardens with Haydin, picking flowers and talking about who-knows-what. He looked up to Haydin, wanting to be just like his big brother. Haydin taught him to paint, and ever since, Harm has been a lover of the arts. When Harm wasn't with Haydin, he reverted back to his normal self, wandering the halls of the manor like a zombie.

When Harm was eighteen, Haydin brought home a boy named Gotye, another noble. He learned that Gotye was Haydin's charity case; Gotye's family had died in an accident and he was living alone, therefore Haydin wanted to give him a friendly place to stay.

Harm didn't like Gotye at all at first. The other was demanding and rude, and even went as far as to tease him! Harm was unaware that Gotye was trying to court him until Gotye, in his frustration, admitted his love for the other. Harm wasn't sure how to feel. Nobody had ever felt that way for him before, let alone someone with a terrible attitude. It was a while before Harm began to fall for the other as well, and began to overlook some of the nasty things Gotye said.

Haydin didn't approve of the relationship at first, regretting letting Gotye stay with their family at all, until he realized how much happier Harm seemed since they became lovers. Harm knew of Haydin and Gotye's rivalry, so he waited a while before giving Haydin the news that him and Gotye were to be married, their families joined. Harm was relieved when Haydin congratulated him instead of berating him. Haydin admitted that he would love his little brother no matter what.
