Nostalgic Fester

My name is Clarice Starfester. I was born and raised in a small rural part of Subeta. Daddy worked in law enforcement. He was my hero. We were not well off financially, but we always made ends meet somehow in our little home. Daddy got shot when someone was robbing a pharmacy. He was strong. He survived for a month. Life was never the same after his death. Mama did the best she could. She and I were chamber maids at motels. In the end Mama sent me away to live with my cousin and her husband up north.
They had a farm with lots of horses and sheep. They let me ride an old horse named Hannah. One day I heard lambs screaming. They were slaughtering the spring lambs and taking dead horses to the glue factory and later the minion food factory. I ran off with Hannah, but they caught me. Hannah ended up at the minion food factory and my heart was broken.
My cousin and her husband sent me to live in a children's home. They were nice to me there, but it was not like when I lived at home with Mama and Daddy. I put my mind to my studies and was a good student.
I went to college and got good grades and decided on a career in law enforcement. I guess I kind of wanted to be like Daddy.
When I was still just a student at the Fester Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.), my boss Jack Crawfester sent me to interview Hannibal Fester, the renowned cannibal. I was scared, but I faced my fear. Hannibal was the one man Jack thought could help us understand the "Buffalo Bill Fester" case. He was a horrible man plucking young chubby Festers to death for their feathers.
Jack told me not to let Hannibal get in my head. Not only did he get in my head, he got in my heart and he and I exchanged conversations about my sad childhood for hints on the Jame Gumb/Buffalo Bill case. When the time came for me to leave after to sneaking in to see Hannibal one last time. Dr. Chilfester had me thrown out. Hannibal brought me the case file and handed it to me through the bars. When our feathers touched a spark of undeniable chemistry passed between us.
Hannibal escaped and I feared I would never see him again. More than that I feared he would start eating other Festers again. I knew I would have to do my duty and try to catch him. I prayed he would never be a cannibal again. When Fredrick Chilfester and others came up missing, I knew my prayers were in vain.
Over the years after Jack Crawfester grew ill and had to leave the bureau. I watched as my dreams crumbled. The Fester Bureau of Investigation grew corrupt just as I expected, especially when a man named Paul Krenfester came in from the "Fester Justice" dept. He flirted with me when I was not interested and he kept setting me up for failure to the point where I got suspended from the F.B.I.
He also was in cahoots with a man named Mason Vergfester and they had planned to capture Hannibal and torture him.
Mason Vergfester was one of Hannibal's victims, quite disfigured, but Hannibal could not eat him because of the sort of man he had been, so he fed him to a bunch of hungry minions instead, but not all of him. The rest of him ended up being killed later by someone else, but Hannibal did not care if he was blamed.
When I found out that Paul Krenfester was helping to buy Hannibal for Mason Vergfester's personal revenge, I decided to save him even though I was suspended. Part of me still loved him. While saving him I was injured.
Hannibal took me to a house he had. For months he hypnotized and medicated me. He also spoiled me. He bought me designer clothes, shoes, bags and jewels. He took me to operas with wigs on, dripping in jewels.
Hannibal really hated Paul Krenfester for disrespecting me. Hannibal meant to see him pay. One day Hanni cooked me some brains. I thought it was calf, pig or lamb, but it was Paul Krenfester's. After that I became a vegetarian.
I was mad about him feeding me another Fester's brains and we had a huge argument about it. I told him my choice to become vegetarian. I almost left him for good then I asked him to stop eating other Festers..
Hannibal didn't promise to become a vegetarian, but he did say, "Tell me, Clarice, would you ever say to me 'Stop. If you loved me, you'd stop'?" So I said, "I love you. If you truly love me, STOP!! " I believe Hannibal truly quit being a cannibal from that day on.
After that Hannibal taught me many things like memory palaces, classical music, and the importance of saying "thank you" instead of just "thanks". He also told me about Will Grafester who is our dear friend now. We are the three Muskefesters. ♥️
Hannibal also told me about Mischa. It broke my heart. Hannibal does not believe in life after death. I do. I believe my Daddy and Mischa are up there somewhere and we'll see them again.
I named my minion after Hannah my horse. I hope to see the original Hannah again someday . ♥
