Bendy_Demon![]() Profile to Profile | By the way..when I mentioned Avatar I meant the anime not a movie that goes by a similar name. As for the movie Eragon..I realize you can't put everything in a movie but they could have put some effort into it, they showed nothing of Eragon training with Saphira (the dragon) or anything. The way they showed her grow up was too cliche and cringey thus I suspect that is one of the reasons no further movies were made. I read almost all the books but am missing the fourth and final one called 'Inheritance' so maybe someday I will find it. Not all movies are like that but a good production team tries to strike a balance and add enough of teh book to make it interesting, kind of like "The Lord of the Rings" movie..it was good though I never read the books but it does make me want to read the books however I found out that even the movie does not really dovetail with the books too much but still I want to read them. |

Bendy_Demon![]() Profile to Profile | Eh? Sorry on what? :) I seen a thing that there was a live action version of Death Note? Wonder how that turned out? Same with teh live action version of Full Metal Alchemist, I don't know..there are just some things that can't be translated too well in a live action film. Many years ago there was alive action version of Avatar The Last Airbender and watched it and I was disappointed. The acting was awful and lackluster, the special effects were atrocious and apparently was produced by a team of amateurs. Then there was the movie Eragon (based on teh book but don't know if you read it) .which they only made one movie of as the producers rushed the story along, left out SO much and just was not what I had expected. I read most of the series and thought the movie would be good; you never see much mention of the Shade, the Urgals and even Brom's appearance was terribly brief. Sorry for rambling but sometimes trying to make a live action movie especially of an anime sometimes leaves something to be desired. The only thing somewhat worthwhile was the dragon |
