Profile to ProfileOh it definitely did! Just glad I finished before it got any hotter here.
There are videos on youTube that can help you learn. Just look for someone who speaks clear, and describes what they are doing as they are doing it. VERY important, look for videos for left or right handed. Which ever applies to you, for example I am right handed I could never teach a left handed person. For some reason, the thinking process is different and it really shows in crocheting or knitting. It would make for a very frustrating time. So find videos that apply to you being right or left handed, it will it all so much easier for you. Look for info about how to read a yarn label, very important. My grandma taught me, her MAIN rule never mix brands of yarn or types of yarn. Because each manufacture has a different process, which affects the texture of the yarn. Which will affect how your project comes out and looks. Red Yarn brand used to be good, but it isnt any more. So I recommend not getting that particular brand. Also, follow yarn label rules for washing and if drying is allowed.

Profile to ProfileHi I would like to say, that I am doing something interesting to others. But still sitting and crocheting, trying to finish son's bedspread. I am doing the border edges, my son wants about 8 inches wide border all around. Darn thing fits perfectly on a California king mattress already. But its so pretty.
I think I should have know this before I started, lol.
"A California king mattress typically measures 72 inches wide by 84 inches long. This makes it 4 inches longer but 4 inches narrower than a standard king mattress."
Of course the dogs are trying to help, every time they come near with their claws. I freak out, so much work that could be damaged. Thankfully one is calmer, so I really have to keep a sharp eye on my one troublemaker.Sydney
