Ah ha! Behold the toothy terror, the bitey beast, the red death of land and sea, experiment #0513! As well as its scribble form, which is also extremely unnerving, if I do say so myself. It's a shame I don't live closer to the coastline, it's been an awful pain housing these things while I conducted my experiments.

Some things to look forward to over the next month or so!

:star: Fireside will start next week. You will be able to give food to Charity for a chance at specific Fireside treats, give Fantine pumpkins from Morostide for delicious baked goods, and of course the bonfire will be open. There will also be Fireside challengers to fight!

:star: Black Friday will be be November 23 until 11:59pm on November 29. What does Black Friday mean for Subeta?
:sparkles: All battle challenger summoners and monthly collections will be back. These items are not discounted.
:sparkles: All retired boutique sets will return.
:sparkles: Like last year, Custom Wearables will have separate things happening in December. There will be a separate post about that later!
:sparkles: Chance machines will be discounted during the sale (and their text will actually reflect this discount, unlike last year where I maaaaaay have forgotten to update the text but not the actual price).
:sparkles: Pet slots, pet name changes, username changes, and pet overlays are not included in the sale.
:sparkles: Any item that is brought back for the sale will retire again after. In the news post announcing the sale, we will include what current items in the Cash Shop will retire after. We haven't done a big retirement in ages, so keep that in mind!
:sparkles: Not every previous Cash Shop item will return to the shop during the sale. If only one or two item in a set is worth something, it might go to the CS Hustler instead.
:sparkles: If there is something you are hoping to see come back, post it in the comments! I can't guarantee it'll return, but it's nice to know :eyes:

:star: Luminaire starts December 1! Some old Luminaire opponents might be making a comeback this Winter, so prepare to fight.

:star: Winter items will be coming to the Millionaire Center and Seasonal Quest Shop on December 21.

We will be starting Black Friday this MONDAY (November 21) instead of Wednesday (November 23). This was changed due to a discussion with User Admins about making sure any tickets that come in can be handled before Thanksgiving. Don't worry, the sale will still end at 11:59pm on November 29.

So a quick recap of upcoming days to be excited about:

We are very excited to announce two Custom Wearable events, coming up in December!

First, from Friday, December 2nd through Monday, December 5th, all custom wearables in shops will be 25% off! Shop owners, don't worry - you won't have to do anything for this, as the site will adjust the prices for you. Custom wearable sellers will still earn their original profit on CWs (not a reduced amount). It's the perfect time to stock up on CWs to gift to friends (or to yourself - we don't judge)! The sale will start at about 3 PM Subeta time on the 2nd and end at midnight Subeta time on the 5th.

Are you more interested in an older CW that you're hoping you can get your hands on? You may have your chance the following weekend! From Friday the 9th through Sunday the 11th at midnight, the CW Pawn Shop will be open for buying! Take the time to browse all the great CWs that Jeremy has been hoarding for the past several months and get those dream pieces for your collection! Please note you will not be able to sell to the pawn shop during the time it is open.

We will also be announcing the deadlines for holiday custom wearables soon - be sure to join the Official Custom Wearable Ping Group to get notifications of CW-specific announcements like this!

Metallic Bubblegum Destructive Red Rreign Sticker

The Veta Bonfire has been lit and is ready for all to celebrate this year's harvest.

How does this work? You'll find Red Rreign items floating around the site, take those and throw them in the bonfire! Make sure you don't throw in a wreathed item because you could upset the Red Rreign.

It's the season of giving and Charity would appreciate any food you can give! There are all sorts of new rewards this year.

The Charitable achievement has two new tiers, each with the same prize since it is a book!

Hungry for something pumpkin flavored? Fantine is accepting pumpkins from Morostide in exchange for delicious baked goods.

Don’t forget that while the Bonfire is up, you can make harvest potions!

Fireside challengers to come later in holiday with new loot!

Fireside ends 11:59pm on November 30.

The Black Friday Cash Shop Sale has officially started, enjoy that 50% discount! There are few new items while goodness gracious, so many old things have been brought back! I'm sorry in advance if the shop lags!

The Battle, Bobblehead, Collection, and CSC Card tabs are not discounted. If you don't see an item you were hoping for, I likely will be throwing it in the Cash Shop Hustler at some point.

Any items have have been brought back for Black Friday will retire at the end. The sale ends 11:59pm on November 29.

The Locked Box of Sweetness costume trunk has been revamped. Both sides have some new items, too! The Sweet Little Purse in the female side transforms between all the base colors.

We’ve changed the special item for our Subscription Quester, Councilor, and Goddess plans. We will be changing this special item slot every month.

Trunks, Boutique items, and Chance Machines have all been discounted.

At the end of Black Friday, the Arctic Chance and Spooky Chance Machines will retire. Those items, if they get overly expensive, will show up in the CS Hustler! All boutique sets before Delish Sonnet will retire after Black Friday.

Are you ready to rumble with the Fireside crew? You have until the end of the holiday to defeat Bandit, Cranky Carrot, Cursed Effigy, Lady Etheldred, Lord Wybert, Sir Buckley the Bold, and Sister of the Sands.

These challengers can be found in the Event tab at the Battle Coliseum. You do have to unlock Cursed Effigy first, though.

Wow, the harvest mortiking and yaherra: two pets with such beauty and grace. You will barely hear them picking delicately through the forest leaves this Fall, for they are both so elegant and gentle.

Oh wait, hold on, my notes say that one of these is actually"'a huge monster of a pet that will trample on things like a brute and crush your hopes as well as your dreams". Wow, I didn't know the yaherra would be like that, but I guess looks can be deceiving!

Hey there, people! I hope you're having a lovely Fireside so far.

Starting last night, some people had issues logging back in, basically getting an error message when trying. Keith figured out what was happening behind the 'something went wrong'; checks for an active pet were all redirecting to one particular pet belonging to a frozen user. The log-in steps couldn't get the type or color data and so the process wouldn't complete. The errant redirect should be fixed now and the code is back to recognizing your pet and finishing the log-in process.

Fireside is not going to be extended, there should be plenty of time still for the bonfire! The Black Friday sale *may* get an extension but that is not confirmed yet, please watch the front page for an update on that. If you missed your Bath House streak because of this, please file a ticket!

The harvest charlie and endeavor are not two pets you might naturally imagine together, and to that, I ask you why not?! A tiny round hamster-goblin with an enormous stabby robot-raptor? It's the duo dreams are made of. Can you imagine that tiny charlie riding on the head of the endeavor, king of the world, believing in itself and all it can conquer? The endeavor, happy to have a companion that's not afraid of it and also helping it rid itself of some of the vast seriousness it's been programmed with? What a pair!

Or you could just adopt one of the two.

Some last-minute holiday updates!

:star: Black Friday will be extended to 6:00pm on November 30. Why not do 11:59pm like everything else? This is in preparation for the switch from Fireside to Luminaire, so if there are any holiday issues we can focus on that immediately. The fewer things that end/start at the same time, the less stressful lil ol' Amber is.
:star: Fireside will still be ending at 11:59pm on November 30, though Fireside challengers will stick out the week and leave at 11:59pm on December 2.
:star: Luminaire starts right at midnight on December 1!
