Bug Fix: item values stuck on old numbers Bug Fix

  • The job that keeps item values fresh had stopped moving past a handful of items it couldn't price, so values on items that hadn't sold in a while were months old. It's moving again, and those values corrected over the following day.

  • The item hover now shows the same number as the item directory, labeled Value, with a line under it saying how many sales it comes from and how recent the newest one is. The cheapest copy for sale and how many are in shops sit beside it. Buying something in a user shop no longer changes the number on the spot.

  • The item directory detail page explains the value the same way, lists the five cheapest user shop copies under Where to buy, labels the value chart, and fits on a phone.

@Tachi Thank you! I always wondered how it worked. Random is perfect

@Shari A while back Keith changed the code to make it random instead of who updated most recently.

I don't like how much extra info is in the item hovers now. It's getting a bit too cluttered, especially getting a whole line about sales data. The link to the directory should be sufficient if people want more in-detail stats on item sales.

I dont know if this is part of this post or not but I'm wondering how the order of the lowest user shop prices are chosen. Is it random? It seems when I go back to the user shop prices they are in the same order as before.
