This is the privacy policy for Subeta (www.subeta.net). It explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as we need to run the site.
What we collect
When you make an account we ask for an email address and a username, and you may give us a first and last name. We store the things you do on the site so the game works — your pets, items, Points, forum posts, settings, and the rest of your account.
Like most websites, our servers also record standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you load, and the time you load them. We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences.
How we use it
- To run your account and let you play the game.
- To keep the site secure and catch cheating, fraud, and abuse.
- To answer your tickets and messages when you contact us.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To show ads to logged-out visitors and free accounts.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
A few outside services run on Subeta. Each one has its own privacy policy, linked below.
- Google Analytics — measures site traffic and usage. Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Google AdSense — serves the ads that logged-out visitors and free accounts see. You can manage how Google personalizes ads to you in your Google Ads settings. Gold accounts do not see ads.

Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your layout and theme, and let our analytics and ads work. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site — including staying logged in — will stop working if you do.
Your choices and rights
You can update most of your account information from your settings at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. To make any of those requests, contact us using the details below and we'll take care of it.
Children
Subeta is not for children under 13, and you must be 13 or older to make an account. If we learn that we've collected information from a child under 13, we delete it.
Data security
We protect your account with reasonable safeguards, but no website can promise perfect security. Use a strong, unique password and never share it — Subeta staff will never ask you for it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date below, and the current version is always the one posted here.
