Computer Geek Quests is the weekend quest! Do those quests for increased prizes and special rewards!

For whatever reason my previous post did not post correctly. Just said that I do appreciate weekend quests, they are fun overall. However, I don't care for this particular quest. I had done 3 quests out of 5 so far and each prize was a case. 3 times in a row. To me that doesn't equal an increased prize or a special reward. Don't get me wrong, I'm not wanting to seem ungrateful. I wouldn't mind getting mundane or common items, but I'm tired of getting cases alot. Wish cases could be done away with.

I do appreciate having the weekend quests, but I really do not care for this particular quest. I've been able to do 3 quests out of 5 so far, and my prize each time? 3 Cases in a row. I really, really wish that the cases could be done away with. I'm not trying to be ungrateful, it's just it's not what I consider an increased prize or a special reward. >.<

Granted the Computer Geek is not my favorite Weekend Quest, I do make a noticeable profit when I merely watch how much I spend on him. He's certainly no Saggi or Wizard, but he does contribute to shop sales with everyone running about and purchasing his requests. It's not like you HAVE to do his quests... :3

I notice people like to complain a lot instead of being happy that we have weekend specials. Even if the prize increase is minimal, it's still something. People constantly whining for the Wizard or Saggi just because they give huge prizes is kind of unfair. Just think of it as an opportunity to do a quest you usually overlook or don't bother about. Extra money/items is always good in my opinion, no matter how small. Be grateful for what you get.

not sure how much different quests we can do- lets count

1)library - 2)saggi- 3)maleria- 4)sarah- 5)toy- 6)cursed- 7)quinten- 8)drunken carl- 9)computer geek- 10)wizard- 11)battle quests
thats a total of 11 - so every 11th week a "special" battle one whooottt !!!! "drools and every 1th week saggi and wizard

oh and for me you may add 12) chase quests ( with for once cheap items he ask for instead of uber expensive and no special prizes needed than *evil grin*

and my number 13) quests would be a new one named spell quests - all spell galore needed items or potions or elixirs and as prize, the more expensive spell galores stuff like whale fat and unicorn horn or sands of time (when finishing it within a certain time :)

voila thats about it lol

This makes the 3rd time we have had to do the C G quests, and, the 2nd week in a row. I look forward all week to the weekend so that I can do the weekend quests,
this will make 2 weeks in a row that I skip (or do only a few) the quests! The excitement is wearing away very quickly. Better luck next time I guess!

we had once saggi - once wizard - once maleria and now 3 times computer geek oh and i think we even had once quentin

where are toy- books- quentin - drunken carl and cursed quests in this story ??

pitty its random, the geek seems to win every time, so he is a very lucky guy :)

I wanted to post again to explain myself a little better because I came off as ungreatful in my first post.
I love the weekend quests I just do not like the computer geek. I like that it is random also on how the quests are generated because it keeps it exciting.
I think the computer geek quests would be a lot better if the the cases were taken completely out though.

The one weekend I was out of town there was a great weekend quest... the two recent weekends I'm watching and waiting... aaaaand its the CG again!? I don't know about others' luck, but I have -never- gotten anything good from this quest but wasted time even during a weekend quest.

I am disappoint.

Ugh I hate the computer geeks quests. I might would actually do them if he did not hand out those stupid cases every other freaking quest. As it is though, I think I will have to skip this one. Not worth the frustration I get when I spend 300k on a super rare just to get a case. I am with the other person who said the cases need to be retired, then maybe it would not be so frustrating.

I'm trying not to complain too hard, because I LOVE the concept of Weekend Special. I look forward to it all week, try and vend like whoa on Thursdays so I have a lot of stuff on hand for Friday, do all the special quests. But this level of repeat really sucks a lot of the fun out of it. I really hope you'll consider tinkering the system so this doesn't keep happening.

@KuroKai - whaaaa? Maleria was the best, after Wiz and Sag- the only thing that sucked was the massive inflation, but even paying 1/2 mill was worth it most of the time cuz she gave out such great items

This sucks. These weekend quests aren't even worth doing when they focus on this melvin.

If it's going to choose crappy NPCs twice in a row, perhaps try to increase their rewards at least.

Well, I would really prefer someone else by now, Melman is getting boring a little. But well, I'll still do the quests, last weekend I got some profits, so XD At least it's not Maleria again. I fear the weekend she'll be it again :/

Eh, looks like I'll be skipping this again. His quests are never worth it even with increased prizes (And what happened to him asking for tech stuff? He only asks for toys now... Weird)

That's what happens when it's random.
If I could have EVERYTHING I WANT EVER there would be equal rotation.
But I haven't heard the reasons for it being random, and they may be good reasons after all, who knows.
I think maybe though there should be a "no twice in a row" rule. BUT THAT'S JUST LITTLE OL' ME TALKING. u__u

Well, this is pretty silly. I wouldn't necessarily want equal rotation (Wizard and Sag quests are pretty hefty and probably screw with Subeta's economy a little), but it's not as if all of the smaller quests have even been used for this event yet. Random =/= best.
