Wyrmgear-Permanent Challenger
Some of you may remember this monster from last year’s Masquerade. Yun Enterprises has repurposed him as a permanent Battle Coliseum challenger. It seemed wasteful to simply discard such amazing technology. Let this metal dragon stand as a reminder of what science in the wrong hands is capable of so we may strive to never allow such things to happen again.

lol, because a need a justification to why challengers stay or not now?

Well, not technically new ... but Keith said other new ones were coming, so that's good enough for me.
Wyrmgear was supposed to be retired last year. The news post is just a way to justify keeping him as a permanent challenger and having site lore make sense. His weapons and stats have not been changed. His loot was altered slightly so that he drops spell regents for regular loot and the horns on the 5th win.
Okay for people saying that you had him all year and stuff. I just got him. Never saw him before. So maybe since you battle him last year you kept him but for the newbies this is our first time :D Looking forward to melting this beast.
If your pet beat the challenger, he stayed otherwise he went away. I already maxed out on my wind on him a while back so I guess this is good for anyone that didn't have him before?
