Did you ever refer a friend to Subeta only to have them get totally lost in all the cool things they can do? Well, now there\'s a brand new tutorial for new users to help them get started!

About time, this will be incredibly helpful as Subeta is not the most user friendly game to get into.
I do like the idea that you need to complete the action before doing it as it walks the new user through the motions; however, I do feel that if they already had one (Like a newer user that got a pet and couldn't figure out anything else and left the account) there should be something that can detect it and move on.

It's a lovely idea, but it seems like the tutorial needs its own tutorial at this point. :P
If the tutorial knows whether you've adopted a pet or not, maybe the "I'm finished, next step" link could not show up until you've done so? Or, if you try to click it, you actually get a message that tells you what is happening.
If seasoned users are getting confused.. will an actual newbie fare any better?

Why do you have to adopt a pet to continue? As a new player that might not be what I immediately want (and it should be more clear that this is what you want me to do before you let me continue).
I already have adopted a pet - but I can not go ahead..... the site sends me always back to the start !?!
This is a great idea for new users! There is so much to do here, it can be pretty darn overwhelming! c:
Shame I'll never get past the first stage of the tutorial, since I'm already at my limit for pets :/ Wish I could check it out.

Blah, whenever my friends join the get bored and then leave. BC MAYBE this is'll make em' stay. I've had some re-join...but still leave.

It is hard to get my friends to join Subeta, and the referrals I do have, they mostly just joined to be nice. Maybe this will make things easier!
This tutorial would be a lot more useful for new users and interesting for older users if you could make it past the first step without actually adopting a pet. What about a new user who's been around a week or a couple of months, created a pet or two and is happy with that number for now, but still wants a tour of the site? It doesn't make sense to set that limit on the very first page.

YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY ADOPT A PET TO GET PAST THE FIRST PAGE. Please read the other comments before you post. ;)
I got one that I know of but she's a really busy person. But yeah this is great for all the new users :)

I just keep getting the first page over and over...adopt, adopt. I assume there is something more to it?
It would be great if this could continue with out adopting a pet as my friend joined last week and shes from the UK and she is lost. I can only tutor her on the weekends when we can possibly be on at the same time due to time zone difference but she has already adopted her. It would be great if she could follow the tutorial with adopting another one. The she wouldn't have to wait for me :)

None of my friends are as geeky as me to spend the amount of time on Subeta that I do! No offense to my fellow friends or the users of Subeta...I'm just saying! We are geeky! ;)

Yes! Me too. I remember when spent hours lurking the forums to figure out what other players were doing to make sP, what things did, where things were and still struggled to figure it all out. I hope this takes some of the confusion out of things for newer players and encourages them to stay a little longer.
