i accidentally deleted my gift option when editing my profile how do i get it back O_O
This is a really fun idea. I just wish it would have come a LITTLE sooner - I sent out all my gifts early, hahah. This is just encouragement to send them more, though. :)
Agreed with Loser, I have very few friends on here (a few of which are inactive) and my pile is the largest it can be because of the thread 'Give a profile gift to the person above you!'. Easily done and even more exciting because I got to give out to a ton of people too!<3
Will the Melody's Little Helper meta-achievement requirement change from stocking stuffing to profile gifts now that we're not doing stockings anymore???
I think it does a great job at replacing stockings and looks a million times better. Plus, it's really fun to gift friends and watch their present pile grow ^_^

I love this new feature, simply because I went SQUEEEEE when I saw that one little box on my profile :3:3 I only have 2 (inactive :( ) friends on subeta so it really made me feel all fuzzy inside :):) Thank you to whoever gifted me! ^^
Yeah, I'm not seeing anything on my profile either even though I've given a couple gifts to see what it looks like. Kind of confusing. Miss the stockings.
I must not have any gifts because I'm not seeing anything on my profile. Then I went to make sure I added the options properly and I can't delete the 2nd option box off. So yeah...... not sure what I think of this yet. Interesting concept.
I actually like it. I don't care if it shows how many gifts I receive and I don't care if I don't receive many gifts. The fact that I came home from work and checked my profile and saw the 3 little boxes there, I feel kinda special because I know that there was at least one person who thought of me the very first day this feature was released ♥️
I kind of liked how the stockings kept the gift amount a mystery.
Anyway, here is an image of how the gifts add up on your profile if anyone's curious. After 12 the image stays the same. Also, the highest tier is for gifting 25 times.

I don't see why everyone is complaining about having 'small' piles. If none of your friends have got round to sending you gift yet, go to the "Give a Profile Gift to the user above you!" topic in the achievement forum, and your pile will grow in a matter of minutes! Merry Luminaire everyone :D
really hope this gets fixed soon. i added the 'option' button to see what everyone was talking about and then i couldn't remove it. and now it overlaps all my other links i have and you can't even click on them.
Ohh... took me a while to figure out that the presents are just sitting there, and you don't get them immediately!
Ummmm....I liked the stockings better. This is going to make users who don't have a lot of friends or a lot of active gift-givers feel like crap if their 'pile' is small. At least with the stocking you had NO idea who was getting more than anyone else. sigh
I don't quite understand the point, I can send items to my friends through inventory. Unless this wraps them first or something, I don't know. I liked the stockings.

I may have missed something, but what exactly is the benefit of this compared to sending gifts through the gift center?

All of the other stuff aside... I think it will be great fun! We can still send gifts to our friends; it's just a new way of doing it to change things up! Anybody else sqee with joy when they saw they had gifts already? I totally did! I have no friends on Subeta so YAY for random generous gifters. :) Tis the season! Happy Lumineve everybody! I think this new feature is fun. And the art is amazing! I love visting people's profiles to see how massive some people's piles already are!

As for this making Luminaire gifting "easier", it doesn't. The stockings worked smashingly for that. Why a new/different feature was needed I'll never understand. This way actually makes it more tedious and not quite as enjoyable (to me at least). Either way, we had to go to our friends' profiles to deposit the gifts.

I loved watching the gift pile grow as I gave users gifts, this is so great! Plus all the gift art is sooooo pretty!
To everyone who seems to think I'm 'worrying' about the popularity idea, I'm not. Christmas isn't about gifts for me; I don't get them on here or IRL, but my Christmas is one of the most merry ones I've seen. For my family, Christmas is a feeling that lasts all month. It's not about how many presents you have: it's about how many you give.
I simply stated my opinion because my sister and I had been talking about it, that's all. Popularity doesn't really matter to me; I'm an anime nerd, for God's sake. ;) Christmas and Luminaire are all about the feeling.

Who cares about the popularity idea? I think it is a great feature. The holiday season is not always about getting, you know. :)
This is my first Luminaire here so I'm pretty excited about it.:) I'm sad that I gave out most of my gifts already, but that just gives me the opportunity to give out a few smaller ones.
I really like this feature a lot. it looks nice in the profiles too. I just gave out all my gifts. There weren't many, but I'm finally done with Luminaire shopping!
IDK what to tell you then if you don't like the forum games, I guess you just need to get out there and build friendships with folks. Popularity has nothing to do with it, if you only have five friends and they like you a whole bunch, you might get more gifts than someone with 200 friends.
Honestly I don't think someone is gonna come across a profile with a less pile of gifts and think "lol what a loser". . . It's not about how much you get but the fact your friends (or random people thought of you enough to take a moment to gift you shrug)

Personally I love this new feature, and think the art and the growing piles are utterly ADORABLE. Also, just because the piles grow with more gifts, doesn't mean its showing off popularity, and even if it was, what's the big deal? :l I have a lot of gifts already on my profile, not because I'm popular, I'm probably far from it, but because I have 1-2 friends who giftbombed me. A lot of gifts =/= popular, it usually equals kind and generous friends.

I don't understand those griping saying this feature was "late". Was it ever stated anywhere that every single thing having to do with Luminaire HAD to be initiated in the first day or so? That would make things stale and boring by the end of the first week. :P Guess some just have to find SOMEthing to gripe about all the time.
And anyone who would compare themselves to others to try to show they are more popular are just sad so I wouldn't worry about who's got the biggest pile of presents.

@PoeticEnigma - Sorry, I see the whole gift the person above you thing as a way of begging for gifts. Just my opinion. I just feel that if someone wants to gift you, they will, and if they don't then they won't, you don't have to make them do so by posting in a forum where you are basically asking for it. That's just how I feel though, not sure what other people think.
Actually there is a gift the person above you thread in Achievements, so go forth and claim the person above you. No need to be forever alone on here! :)
Don't really like the idea of the pile growing and agree with the prior people, it can show how popular/well liked you are (or aren't). I like the stockings better since they didn't grow

I agree with Japan...I think the growing gift piles are an example of popularity. :c That's why I have a hand-made link with a single present -- nobody needs to know how popular or unpopular I am.

Great idea, but I think the stack size should be only illustrative and are not ally or decrease, it can even be embarrassing ...

IT'S ABOUT GIVING RIGHT. I sort of the liked the COMPLETE ~mysteriousness~ of stocking but am excited to see how this plays out?

...I like the concept, but it looks like just another way to judge how popular you are on this site. :/ If you don't have a lot of gifts, not a lot of people know you or like you. Seems a bit like you're showing off your popularity or absence of it. shrugs But that's my opinion. I'm certain I'm wrong. Looking forward to the new stuff.
Will the "give a gift" achievement replace the "stuff a stocking" achievement under the requirements for the Melody's Little Helper meta-achievement?
Not liking this new gifting feature at all....I tried to leave a comment for one of my friends and all it kept doing was bumping me to the gifting window grrrrr....

One on hand - neat there is more images the more you get :D And I guess it saves users from being completely disappointed when they get nothing on Christmas morning. They will already know XD
